Young or old, feisty or shy, your dog is welcome to spend the day in our spacious Sellwood dog daycare facility where we use gentle encouragement and positive reinforcement methods rather than punitive behavioral modification to encourage agreeable behavior.
Rockin' Roxy’s dog daycare clients are treated to a large climate-controlled play room designed for lap running or watching the world outside one of our 14 windows. A ½" rubber floor made for dog daycare opens up to outside areas with potty areas, benches and pools on hot days. Spacious areas for small breed dogs, mellow dogs and senior dogs offer climbing structures for exercise as well as areas for rest.
Rockin' Roxy's offers both half-day and full-day dog daycare. During daycare our dogs play with each other and with toys and balls while being tended to by an attendant who monitors the action to ensure every dog has a great day. When possible daycare dogs join boarders and take neighborhood walks so that we can reinforce good leash behavior and socialization on the road. Frequent rest times provide your dog with a well-rounded event-filled experience that will leave him both tired and better socialized.
Dogs over 6 months must be spayed or neutered. Exceptions for service dogs and other special circumstances will be considered.
All dogs must have updated, documented distemper, parvo, rabies and bordatella vaccinations. Additionally all dogs must be on a monthly flea prevention program and must have a fecal exam every 6 months or after any GI illness.
We do not discriminate by breed, age or special need. All dogs are welcome and will be tested for temperament. Likewise are subject to removal at the discretion of Rockin' Roxy's staff.
